Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The BI Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in BI tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Reporting: Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Business Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into BI solutions and technical requirements.
• Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and operations.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, including internal databases, external data feeds, and third-party tools.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, marketing, and operations, to support their data needs and projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve BI processes and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional) is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar. Strong skills in SQL and data modeling.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Data Management: Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and database management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
• Experience in a specific industry relevant to the organization (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).
