Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the Paints Division, aligning with company goals and market trends.
  • Establish Della Luxury Products as a leading brand in the luxury paints market segment.
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Drive sales growth by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Build and manage relationships with high-end architects, interior designers, developers, and premium clientele.
  • Lead the development of sales pipelines and conversion strategies.
  • Market Expansion & Brand Building:
  • Expand the geographic footprint of the luxury paints portfolio across key urban and affluent markets.
  • Strengthen brand positioning and awareness through innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and business development team.
  • Set and monitor performance goals for the division, ensuring accountability and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships to ensure supply chain efficiency and quality standards.
  • Financial & Operational Management:
  • Manage the division’s P&L, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Develop pricing strategies that reflect the luxury segment’s premium positioning.

Job Expectations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the paints industry, with a focus on sales, business development, and luxury paint products.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing a high-value product line.

Sales Acumen

  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with HNIs, developers, architects, and other premium market stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of sales cycles and strategies for the luxury market.

Leadership

  • Experience leading teams and driving performance in a competitive environment.
  • Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Market Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury paints market, consumer behavior, and industry trends in India, particularly in metropolitan regions.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
