Description
The Consumer Marketing team at Amazon India is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager for Amazon Associates Program, a global leader in online marketing and one of the largest paid advertising channels for Amazon. With its network of lakhs of creators – publishers, partners and influencers; the Amazon Associates program is a global leader in online marketing and one of the largest paid advertising channels for Amazon. As a customer-obsessed, digital media enthusiast – you will influence and build upon the success we have had with lakhs of digital traffic owners who are looking for a means to monetize their traffic.
Key job responsibilities
Associates Business Team helps content creators, publishers and bloggers monetize traffic on their website or app by driving purchases on Amazon. Affiliate partners use link-building tools to direct their audience to Amazon and earn from qualifying sales after a click-through.
As part of this team, you will lead partnerships with Programmatic and Enterprise partners in the Managed Associates program.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business through these partnerships, own GTM for strategic product rollouts like audience integration with your Accounts, Account health. You will use effective C-level communication skills to manage relationships and develop and execute win-win business plans.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing B2B relationships, preferably in digital marketing, and proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets. The role will further require the candidate to exhibit strong analytical as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to exhibit fast and decisive decision-making while dealing with multiple stakeholders with competing objectives. Candidates must demonstrate a superior track record for execution, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, and success in all phases of account management including integration, scaling and retention of partners.
About The Team
Associates Business Team ABT is organized into three key functional areas to deliver for Amazon India Stores 1) Ecosystem Relationships: Account manage Strategic Associates like NDTV, Times Network etc. through scalable playbooks, drives new Business Development with large Enterprises and drives distribution of Amazon products/program on 3P Publishers 2) Associates Engagement: owns full funnel marketing to ensure program is appealing to a diverse array of Associates, giving every Associate tools and resources they need to succeed by partnering with WW Product 3) Vertical Scaling pod is responsible for surgically deploying funds to drive specific Category/Program objectives

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional or military experience
- 2+ years of generating new opportunities with strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution through entire sales cycle experience
- 2+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Experience and record of success in an outbound account management or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution/technology-related environment
- Experience using Salesforce.com at an advanced level including the development of dashboards and reports, programing experience
