Business Analytics Analyst I

The Opportunity

Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Business Analytics Analyst I, who will be responsible for delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

Job Description

• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Elicit and translate customer and business stakeholder needs into clear business and technical requirements
• Ability to participate in or lead strategic projects with stakeholders to drive business results
• Project Management Skills, including Agile/SCRUM methodologies (PMP Certification a plus)
• Ability to participate in operational meetings, conduct process related training programs for stakeholders
• Ability to identify and define process improvement opportunities
• Ability to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Ability to interpret data, and analyze results using basic statistical analysis
• Experience in data cleaning, data transformation & data wrangling
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with JIRA is helpful
• Ideally have knowledge of database fundamentals such as relational database design
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, including Power Query and DAX)
• Ability to ensure all metrics and other reports are published on time and accurately
  
  

Experience

• Proven working experience as a business analyst for 3+ years
• Knowledge of supply chain & SAP preferred
• Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Experience in Six Sigma/Lean Concepts preferred
