IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Sales Manager to join our Retail Banking team in New Delhi, India. As a Branch Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and business growth for our Education Institution Loan (EIL) product in the assigned branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for EIL product in the assigned branch
- Build and maintain relationships with education institutions to generate leads and increase business opportunities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and understand their needs and preferences
- Train and mentor sales team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively sell the EIL product
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient processing of EIL applications and disbursements
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for the EIL product
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of the education loan market and customer needs
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
