Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced BI Developer with expertise in Microsoft BI products. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of T-SQL, PowerBI, MS Fabric and be familiar with Azure cloud solutions and Azure DevOps. Experience with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS would be beneficial. Additional experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and ITIL frameworks is a plus. This role involves working in an international team to develop and maintain BI solutions, in close cooperation with the EMEIA BI team and other stakeholders.
This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across EMEIA markets. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and is passionate about data-driven decision-making.

Principal Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
- Report and Dashboard Development:
- Develop and deploy PowerBI reports and dashboards.
- Create specifications and design data models to support report requirements.
- Write DAX measures and develop calculated tables/columns.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with EMEIA BI Teams, attending daily calls as needed.
- Respond to support tickets and communicate with Microsoft for application issues.
- Register Microsoft tickets and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for troubleshooting.
- Data Analysis and Integration:
- Connect and analyse data from various sources (CRM, ERP, PIM, Data Warehouse, etc.).
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, build, and deploy BI and analytics solutions.
- Quality Assurance and Documentation:
- Conduct testing to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Document and support developed solutions.
- Participate in peer-reviews and ensure code quality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Maintenance and Governance:
- Maintain business analytics platforms and adhere to Data Governance policies.
- Ensure solutions are accurate, secure, and scalable according to the EMEIA IT Guidelines.
- Identify and suggest improvement areas.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, information systems or demonstrated equivalent education and relevant work experience.
- 4 - 6 years of total work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
- An excellent communicator who can explain sometimes complicated concepts to the stakeholders
- Able to prioritize and plan work to high quality in line with deadlines
- Driven and proactive, stays on top of the issues and follows up rigorously
- Good team player and able to work as part of a diverse team including and to build relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally
- Keen attention to detail and completion of activities
- Strong business focus with understanding that technology is an enabler to the business requirements
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
- Able to prioritize and plan work to high quality in line with deadlines
- Able to work as part of diverse teams including Process Owners, Super Users, Consultants, Developers and Suppliers
- Excellent presentation skills

- Must be able to see to read related documentation.
- Must be able to establish and maintain productive, positive and cooperative relationships with others.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and design solutions in line with the EMEA template
- Willing to work at various ASSA ABLOY locations throughout EMEA
- Willingness and ability to travel within this role
- Ability to communicate on work completed, implementations defined, tested and deployed.
- An ability to explain requirements and work closely with developers (all areas of expertise).
- Ability to explain and demonstrate how to use ERP tools to users.
- Ability to follow defined IT processes
