Backend Development Intern


  • Stipend: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 (based on performance)
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Type: Remote


What You’ll Work On

  • Contribute to ongoing company projects involving real-world backend systems
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js with Express or NestJS
  • Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases using Prisma and Mongoose
  • Implement efficient database schemas and relationships
  • Apply DBMS fundamentals to build scalable and optimised backend logic
  • Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure smooth API integration
  • Follow clean code practices, version control, and basic deployment workflows


Requirements

  • Proficiency in Node.js and experience with Express or NestJS
  • Solid foundation in DBMS and understanding of relational database concepts
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Prisma ORM
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and Mongoose
  • Understanding of API development best practices
  • Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Ability to work independently and meet remote deadlines


Bonus (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with basic DevOps tools and deployment practices
  • Experience with tools like Docker, CI/CD, or cloud services
  • Exposure to performance optimisation and security in backend systems
