Job Description: AVP - Development (Java, Microservices, Full Stack)

ApMoSys Technologies is seeking an experienced and talented AVP - Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, micro services architecture, and full-stack development. As an AVP, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing and implementing complex software solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications and microservices
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and scrum masters to deliver solutions that meet business requirements
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and availability of applications by applying best practices in distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and testing processes to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and frameworks, and be ready to learn new technologies as per project requirements
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 10-12 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and microservices architecture
  • Proficient in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring microservices
  • Experience with full-stack development using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of agile/scrum development methodologies and continuous integration/deployment practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams is preferred
