We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to lead our test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to improve the efficiency, quality, and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing within the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress, etc.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or other similar tools.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and define automation test strategies.
Enhance test coverage for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Analyze and report automation test results, identify defects, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
Maintain and improve test data management strategies for automated testing.
Research and implement new automation tools and best practices to optimize test execution and efficiency.
Mentor and guide junior automation engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in test automation with strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation frameworks.
Experience in API automation testing using Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Experience with version control systems like Git.
