Qualifications And Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in purchase management, preferably in the manufacturing or export industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management
- Familiarity with Handmade Paper & Paper Products is a plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost optimization opportunities
- Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Bargaining and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials and services required for our Handmade Paper & Paper Products Export business
- Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate prices, and establish favorable terms and conditions
- Maintain a strong vendor database, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure smooth procurement operations
- Monitor market trends, assess supplier capabilities, and recommend alternative sources of supply to optimize cost and quality
- Analyze purchase requisitions, review purchase orders, and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
