Design And Engineering
- piping designs, layouts, and isometric drawings.
- pipe routing, material selection, and support systems
- Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards, such as ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, API, and ISO standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, datasheets, and design reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams to ensure project alignment.
- Coordinate piping-related activities with other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
- Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and calculations related to piping components (e.g., valves, fittings, flanges, and specialty items).
- Ensure all vendor-supplied piping equipment meets applicable codes and standards, such as ASME B31.3, API, ASTM, and ISO.
- Check material compatibility, pressure ratings, and dimensional accuracy of vendor-supplied piping components.
- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and purchase requisitions for piping materials.
- Prepare the technical bids suitable vendors based on technical compliance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of vendor communications, approvals, and deviations.
- Prepare reports summarizing technical evaluations, inspection findings, and recommendations.
- Ensure vendor documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within project timelines.
