Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator with a focus on outward operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the coordination of transporters, ensuring timely placement of vehicles, preparing outbound documentation, and overseeing the smooth flow of logistics operations to prevent congestion within the premises.
Reporting To
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator with a focus on outward operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the coordination of transporters, ensuring timely placement of vehicles, preparing outbound documentation, and overseeing the smooth flow of logistics operations to prevent congestion within the premises.
Reporting To
- Functional: Central Logistics
- Local: Factory Manager
- Transport Coordination:
- Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely placement of vehicles as per the orders assigned by the sales team.
- Monitor and track vehicles to ensure on-time delivery to the destination.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to prepare all necessary outbound documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines for outbound shipments.
- Cargo Management:
- Arrange vehicle and cargo weight in accordance with the requirements to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Track and manage vehicle movements to ensure smooth loading and unloading processes.
- Traffic Management:
- Ensure that outbound vehicles are moved timely to prevent traffic congestion within the premises.
- Implement strategies to optimize vehicle flow and minimize delays.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including transporters, sales teams, and warehouse staff, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 to 7 years of experience in logistics with a focus on outward operations.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
