About The Role & Team

As Project Manager - BagDrop, you will play a critical role in managing customer projects, coordinating with global teams, and ensuring seamless communication between internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will act as the primary contact for customers during the development phase, oversee regional communication, and support the efficient implementation of projects.

You will also drive process improvement, streamline administrative tasks, and ensure project deliverables meet customer requirements while aligning with the defined product scope.

What You’ll Do

  • Customer and Team Communication: Take initiative to enhance communication between development teams and customers (internal and external). Ensure that all feedback is timely, clear, and well-documented.
  • Primary Contact During Development: Serve as the main point of contact for both internal and external customers during the development phase.
  • Project Coordination: Interface with regional teams, ensuring follow-ups with airlines and addressing functional or other questions.
  • Sprint Planning: Work alongside SCRUM leads to conduct sprint planning and align development timelines with priorities.
  • Prioritization: Define clear rules and guidelines for prioritization, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and coordination with central teams, Geo Delivery, and Support teams during development planning.
  • Change Request Management: Manage change requests with regional SGS teams, ensuring correct billing and adherence to the product scope. Any deviations must be agreed upon with the Product Management team.
  • Standardization: Drive the standardization of customer questionnaires and documentation processes.
  • Statistics Updates: Regularly update and maintain accurate statistics regarding implementations and system statuses.
  • Automation and Process Improvement: Automate and streamline administrative tasks, improving existing tools to enhance efficiency and processes.
  • Customer Alignment: Ensure that customer requirements align with the agreed product scope, escalating deviations only in coordination with the Product Management team.
  • Expectation Management: Manage customer expectations and timelines in alignment with development team plans and sprint cycles.


Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • 5-8 years of track record in Project Management managing one or more projects from inception through to closure within a commercial environment.
  • Experience with an IT solutions or airline industry solutions provider
  • Proven experience in project management, product introduction, or process management, ideally in the IT/ATI industries.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft environments.
  • Experience coordinating and influencing virtual teams across global regions.
  • Familiarity with DEVOPS principles, Azure cloud services, and tools such as Azure DevOps, MS PowerBI, PowerApps, and Project Management software.
  • Ability to manage small projects within a complex organization, requiring approximately 20% travel.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and enhancing team collaboration.
  • University degree or equivalent experience


Nice-to-have

  • Formal project management training and certification - PMP desired but not mandatory
