We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Middle Office II to join our Market Operations, Securities Lending Team. This role is in Chennai, Tamil Nādu- HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Assist in day-to-day business operations to support Securities Lending Business which is inclusive but not limited to – Collateral and Cash Mgmt. Booking Loans and Recalls / Returns, Booking and Mgmt of Corporate Action events, Intersystem reconciliation (BNYM internal vs external data source)
• Responsible for or facilitating the maintenance of trade static data, trade enrichment, and trade exception handling and market claims.
• Investigate & liaise with Middle Office, Trading desk and external counterparties for resolution of Breaks.
• Collaborate with team members and assist them with ad hoc tasks during seasonal market volume.
• Assist team leads to run daily operations by helping in production of KPI’s KRI’s.
• Participate in Tech and ops driven projects to provide inputs / ops testing and Implementation.
  
  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce, Financial Mgmt.
• 7-9 years’ experience with and Custodian / Investment bank.
• Train and provide guidance to subordinated in daily business operations.
• Should be able to act as a SME within incident management.
• Experience / Acumen towards Operations and Technology initiatives.
