Job Purpose

To help create and sustain a culture of seamless knowledge sharing, collaboration, idea generation & implementation across business functions; to ensure effective deployment and execution of 5-pillar KM strategy and Idea Management System with the focus to support strategic initiatives at DIAL to meet the business goals; along with the measurement of the effectiveness of KM interventions on a regular basis.

Key Accountabilities

  • Business Alignment:,Align KM initiatives to specific needs of the business strategic initiatives - and offer customized solutions


(Number of improvements/solutions with results)

  • Knowledge Sharing Sessions: ,Sharing experience and learnings from each other through The Forum; Cross locational Knowledge Sharing sessions; Chats; Community sessions


(Number of sessions and tracking the effectiveness and horizontal deployment of the relevant knowledge and learnings shared)

  • Listeners:,Capture and share experiences in the form of case studies, stories and narratives


(Number of trained listeners; Number of case studies, stories and narratives developed; Tracking the effective reuse of the developed materials and horizontal deployment)

  • Communities:,Connecting like-minded colleagues on a common platform across locations and businesses


(Number of communities; number of meetings; tracking Discussion Points and horizontal deployment of the relevant learnings shared)

  • GMR Konnect (KM Portal):,Managing the intranet web portal; ensuring the right kind of knowledge documents on the portal and effective use of collaborative features that the portal offers.

  • Idea Management System:,Supervise Idea Management system: generation of ideas, implementation of approved ideas and R&R for employees

Education Qualifications

  • Masters with specialization in Knowledge Management/Mass Communications/Marketing/IT


Relevant Experience

  • 5+ with at least 2 years of working experience in Knowledge Management domain; 2+ years of involvement in driving idea/suggestion scheme at a reputed organization
