Job Description – Associate Manager - Payment Operations
- Active involvement in Designing new processes ,revamp/ optimisation of existing processes to account for changes in Product/ Regulations or other factors impacting the process.
- Collaborate effectively with different teams within PhonePe, key external entities,Partners / service providers to ensure smooth execution of processes so as to achieve desired service levels
- Managing operational tasks by gaining relevant context for driving conversations with cross- functional teams, including tech, product and business teams.
- Set up scalable SOPs for any business operational tasks and actualise them diligently. Simultaneously to work on building automation possibilities for the processes & implement them.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage performance metrics and drive improvements in transaction success rates and TATs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, Biz-Fin, Accounting, Tech Team, Customer/Merchant Support, and others, to ensure operational efficiency and improve the overall user experience.
- Tracking implementation of different projects by our partner banks and helping prioritize adoption from banks as per our plans.
- Monitoring and reporting daily performance of the categories. Identifying areas of improvement and collaborating with internal/external teams to ensure enhancements are executed on time.
- Responsible for defining, developing, and communicating key metrics and business trends to partner and management teams
- Required to monitor the process execution regularly and take proactive steps to address factors that may impact the process execution
- Identifying issues & lead process streamlining as & when required. Assigns appropriate work and holds Operations analysts accountable for performance.
- Minimum work experience of 4-5 years in the operations/payment industry
- Driving personality with an attitude of constantly pushing towards clarity and outcome while balancing the need for a great collaboration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate for one's requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and basic knowledge of SQL
- Qualifications - B.Tech/MBA preferred
