Associate Finance Analyst will help drive financial performance in an organisational area
by assisting with guidance and support on financial information, business performance and implementation of strategies.
The role will also be required to manage business from its basic accounting entry to analytical process upto sophisticated financial reporting. We require people with career development-oriented to join this profession
In FPNA, this role will work together with a pool of highly skilled and talented people in an international environment, getting empowerment and great responsibilities as well as senior management exposure.
Key Responsibilities

The financial analysis must be supported by efficient and clear communication to stakeholders and decision makers.

Key Responsibilities
Our FPNA team acts as the financial sparring partners to Business Stakeholders.
- Reporting to the Senior Financial Planning Manager and interacting with multiple stakeholders within Maersk Liner Business as well as Maersk Group.
- As Financial Analyst you will provide analytical insight and improvement scenarios to Business Stakeholders on profitability (on GP and EBIT Level) & Business performance against target.
- Other key tasks:
- Track performance against targets for assigned Product/Customer Vertical/Segment.
- Responsible for execution, planning and design of forecasting processes.
- To support the decision-making process by providing value-add analysis, financial management information, deep dive analysis, board reports, performance management
- Reporting and financial planning. The financial analysis must be supported by efficient and clear communication to stakeholders and decision makers.
- Be Sparing Partner to Business leads and the link between the Business heads and the Finance organization, as well as liaising with Regional FBPs

Required Experience & Skills
- Has a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or is Chartered Accountant
- The candidate has prior experience (minimum 5 years post qualification experience) within a business partnering environment, working as part of a business leadership team or in a consulting firm
- Are highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, while experience from BI systems is a plus
- Are a strong team player with the ability to engage with and influence, guide and challenge multiple stakeholders
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong integrity and collaboration mindset that goes well with people at all levels in a global organization. Also proven ability to influence without authority and engage confidently with leaders at all levels.
- Are used to and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time
- Are result driven and have a strong logical and analytical capacity
