Associate - Accounts Receivable

Overview

Supports the Team Lead and Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance & Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures (SOP)
• Responsible for reaching out to customers for remittance advice.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording account receivables data.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing/payment issues through emails.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are recorded and properly posted.
• Keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  
  

Qualifications

• A degree in accounting, or a degree in business with an emphasis in accounting
• Must be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness
• Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
• An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
• An ability to work independently
• Must have very good verbal and writing skills
• Must have expertise in Excel.
• Exposure to tools like Salesforce, Netsuite, and similar ERP systems
• Open to work in shifts (overlapping US) – if there is need
