Job Overview

We are hiring for the position of Assistant Store Keeper at DCS Group, a leading educational and career consulting services company based in Jaipur, India. As an Assistant Store Keeper, you will be responsible for managing inventory, organizing and maintaining stock, and assisting with store operations. This is a full-time role with a junior level requirement of 1 to 3 years of experience. The job location for this role is Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Qualifications And Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as an Assistant Store Keeper or in a similar role
• Knowledge of records management and maintaining accurate stock records
• Familiarity with railway projects and delivery inspections
• Experience in facilities maintenance and ensuring store cleanliness
• Proficient in labeling systems and quantities verification
• Strong documentation skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of inventory management software is a plus
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage and organize store inventory, ensuring accurate stock counts and proper storage
• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate team
• Maintain records of goods received and issued, ensuring proper documentation
• Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and organized at all times
• Assist in conducting regular stock audits to reconcile physical stock with system records
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays
• Assist with labeling systems for easy identification and retrieval of stock
• Work closely with the Store Keeper to monitor stock levels and prepare reorder requests
• Assist in conducting regular stock rotation to ensure proper first-in, first-out (FIFO) method
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding store operations and inventory management
