- Selling hotel services to customers to generate revenue for the management.
- Making lists of potential clients or groups and conducting surveys to discover customers actively seeking hotel services.
- Communicating with prospective guests to persuade them to book a room at a hotel.
- Maintaining the hotel's guest service culture and image.
- Building relationships with clients and converting these relations into potential revenue for the hotel.
- Identifying new contacts and developing sales leads.
- Ensuring enquiries become confirmed business.
- Upselling where possible.
- Producing written quotations and confirmation.
