Supply Chain Planner

We are in the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the role of Supply Chain Planner. This role will be based in Bangalore and will report to the Manager Supply Chain Planner.

The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for coordinating assets to optimize the delivery of goods, services and information from supplier to domestic and global customers. Balancing supply and demand (Ensuring maximum service with optimization of Inventory).

Key responsibilities (or What you can expect in the role)

  • Execute all supply chain planning related work for Channel / Product line.
  • S&OP of Product group, capacity booking and Monthly Input/output Control.
  • Performs forecasts of product demand to meet market needs.
  • Plan and prepare production schedule based on forecasts to satisfy customer demand.
  • Interface with sales to acquire information on future orders, market trends and extraordinary circumstances.
  • Establish Supply Delivery Conditions, Procedures and Parameter Values.
  • Analysis and monitoring of customer service and Stockout, Flow KPIs like Prodperf, Supperf, Mfg Leadtime and related improvement actions.
  • Maintaining SC related fields in various masters in MAPICS, SCSS, SO99+ and OMPS and Central Prodmast & Inventory management for FGS and Mfg stock items.
  • Execution of MRP, Procurement Order & Supply Schedules (Call-offs) issue.
  • Establish Supply Channel contracts which considers delivery condition, procedure and parameter values.
  • Represent Supply Chain in external as well as internal audits.

Requirements (or We Expect You To Have/be)

  • Bachelor of engineering Mechanical/Production/Industrial engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Certification in CPIM is preferable.
  • Industry - Manufacturing /Engineering firms, Auto components, OEMs

Metrics

  • Inventory management for Product line.
  • Customer service balance for Product line
  • Product Forecasting and Capacity booking for Product line.
  • Implementation of global supply chain strategies for Product line

Competencies

  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
  • Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
