Job Description

Part Level Reliability Testing

  • Reliability Testing of Electrical/Electronic Parts and Products.
  • Interaction with Project Leaders / Logic team to understand System requirement / Market requirement and convert it into test cases to ensure the reliability of Design.
  • Interact with Electronic Hardware team to understand Hardware of Controllers and make the test cases.
  • Assemble, solder, and test electronic circuits and prototypes, including surface-mount and through-hole components.
  • Ensure testing aligns with applicable standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, MIL-STD, IPC). -Analyse and troubleshooting the faults.
  • Ensure adherence to lab safety protocols, including ESD, control, PPE usage, and 5S practices.
  • Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and Surge generators.
  • Ensure proper documentation and tagging of all test samples. -Support audits and certification processes
  • Record experimental data, prepare technical reports, and maintain accurate lab records for compliance and future Reference

Product level Reliability Testing

  • Prototype new technologies in HVAC industry.
  • Electrical/Electronic Reliability Testing of Products as per IEC and IS standards.
  • Investigate and analyse root causes of failures (e.g., thermal, electrical, mechanical).
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to address reliability issues.
  • Document and suggest corrective actions or design improvements

Technical Support

  • Interaction with Manufacturing team / Vendor development team / Field team to get the Feedback and align the testing/simulations in Lab

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands on experience in Electrical reliability testing of parts and products. Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and datasheets
  • Understanding of various Software tools for Analyzing the test results.
  • Should have skill to operate the Oscilloscope, Surge Generator, EFT Test Instruments and Other lab Instruments.
  • Should have knowledge about various Electronic Components. Should have Knowledge of SMPS power supply Operation and its testing skills.
  • Should have understanding of various IEC and IS standards.
