Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator with strong experience in Kubernetes (K8s) to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Linux-based systems and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our containerized applications.
================== Key Responsibilities: ==========
Administer, configure, and maintain Linux systems (preferably Rocky Linux, RHEL, or Ubuntu).
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and/or cloud).
Automate system tasks and deployments using tools like Ansible, Python, or shell scripting.
Monitor and improve system performance and reliability.
Implement security measures, patch management, and compliance practices.
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, Helm, and related tools.
Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
============= Required Qualifications: =============
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
Strong knowledge of containers (Docker) and container orchestration.
Experience with Linux shell scripting and automation tools.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Familiarity with hypervisors tools (VMware , Openstack).
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) and RHCE.
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible.
Understanding of networking concepts related to Kubernetes (Ingress, Services, DNS).

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
