Responsibilities

Key Result Areas & Outcomes expected from the Role.

  • Perform shift duty as per operational requirement.
  • Responsible to maintain highest level of serviceability for all Electrical Equipment’s like Transformer, DG sets, LT/HT panels, Switchgears, UPS, Lighting system, pump motors & electrical installations in terminal buildings and Systems as per statutory / business requirement
  • Ensure all maintenance activities [Preventive, Corrective, Breakdown] are completed in a timely method and as per industry standards
  • Preparation of check list for Maintenance activities
  • Ensure to carryout maintenance as per SOPs and SLAs
  • Vendor Management
  • Coordinate with Security, Operations team and other stakeholders for permissions to perform timely execution of preventive maintenance work and other activities
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting experience in the following systems:
  • Electrical Distribution system like HT/LT panels, switchgears, DG sets, UPS, lighting systems, pump motors etc.
  • Installation, maintenance, repair of electrical installation in building
  • Operation, Maintenance and BOQ preparation of Electrical Distribution system
  • Preparing Maintenance Reports, process invoices on monthly basis as per requirement stated in SLA
  • Should be able to Prioritize work, task in hand and Open to take addition responsibilities as per the requirement
  • Analyzing breakdowns; perform Root cause analysis and align maintenance strategy to prevent recurring breakdowns of assets
  • Active Participation in team development activities like 5S, Continuous improvement, Energy management system, ISO Audit Etc.
  • Contribute ideas & suggestions to enhance operational & environment procedures in the organization OMDA
  • Maintain optimum serviceability of electrical installations as per plan.
  • Regular monitoring of energy consumption & ensure implementation of energy conservation initiatives.
  • Implementation of PPM as per schedule & standard check-lists for upkeep of installations.
  • Attend breakdowns & ensure timely closure of all open complaints with regular follow-ups.
  • Regular inspection & testing of installations and monitoring & analysis of logged data.
  • Supervise & manage contractual works & ensure compliance to agreed SLAs.
  • Record & report system details, serviceability, breakdowns, incidents, resources utilized, expenses etc.
  • Monitor & maintain stock of all required critical items.
  • Prepare cost effective estimates based on site study, execute works, generate reports & process billing.
  • Ensure timely execution of project works with special care for cost, quality & safety.
  • Coordinate with stake holders for timely execution of planned works.
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable standards, statutory requirements, procedures, safety procedures etc..
  • Analyze breakdowns, perform root cause analysis and align strategy to prevent recurring break downs.
  • Ensure adherence to Safety procedure, SOP and update all documents to meet Compliances, Audit requirements
  • Coordinate with Security, Operations team and other stakeholders for permissions to perform timely execution of preventive maintenance work and other activities
  • Should be able to Prepare Technical Evaluation Report of new System and identify requirement of upgradation or modification of system to improve OEE
  • Basis knowledge of SAP PM, MM and manage inventory of Spares
  • Check Maintenance Reports, process invoices on monthly basis as per requirement stated in SLA
  • Should be able to Prioritize work, task in hand and Open to take addition responsibilities as per the requirement
  • Active Participation in team development activities like 5S, Continuous improvement, Energy management system, ISO Audit Etc.
  • Contribute ideas & suggestions to enhance operational & environment procedures in the organization OMDA.
  • Checks of completed repair and maintenance work to ensure that the established standards have been met.

Qualification

 QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Electrical Engineering from an institute recognized by UGC/ AICTE.

Experience

Essential:

  • 7-9 years of experience in maintenance like Transformer, DG sets, LT/HT panels, Switchgears, UPS, Lighting system, pump motors & electrical installations including HVAC in terminal/Commercial buildings Or Similar field preferably in Aviation sector

Desired

  • Knowledge of HVAC will be an added advantage
