Assistant Manager - Backend Assembly

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in the Manufacturing division, you will be responsible for a range of key deliverables, including:

• Leading backend assembly processes for transmission, differential, gearbox, hydraulics, engine, and accessories
• Ensuring the assembly team meets production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Conducting efficiency analyses and balancing production lines/processes to enhance manufacturing flow
• Analyzing defect data and implementing corrective measures for quality improvement
• Providing comprehensive training for staff to ensure a skilled workforce
• Maintaining a safe working environment and enforcing adherence to safety standards
• Controlling labor costs and identifying cost reduction strategies
• Implementing quality improvement opportunities and corrective actions using FMEA
• Upholding quality, safety, and manufacturing systems standards
• Conducting audits related to processes, products, and ISO standards
• Documenting safety observations and being responsible for line balancing

Education Qualification

To qualify for this role, you should have a BE/BTech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile engineering.

General Experience

You should have a minimum of 3 years of general experience in the manufacturing, automobile, or tractor industries.
