Job Description
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Work on accounting software (QuickBooks/Zoho Books/MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel for reconciliations and reporting.
- Prepare and maintain a structured filing system for all financial and statutory documents.
- Handle banking operations and coordinate with financial institutions as needed.
- Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of management reports for review.
- Liaise with auditors, vendors, and internal teams while ensuring strong financial controls and timely reporting
- Ensure timely statutory payments and returns including GST, TDS, PT, PF, Gratuity, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, etc.
- Manage compliance enquiries and respond to government audits (GST, PF, PT, TDS, Income Tax).
- Oversee accounting, auditing, and return filing for Group Companies (CES Foundation & Gratuity Trust).
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Safeguard confidentiality, accuracy, and security of all financial data.
- Support cross-functional teams and contribute to initiatives that drive overall company growth.
- M.Com, CA Intermediate/Final, MBA (Finance), CPA, or ACCA with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Exposure to the Power Trading sector, NGO or prior work in a CA firm will be an added advantage.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Software Proficiency: Proven familiarity and working experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Core Accounting Skills: Strong understanding and hands-on experience in accounts payable/receivable processes and complex reconciliation tasks.
- Taxation & Compliance: Working knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS) and fundamental financial compliance requirements.
- Technical Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Audit & Regulatory: Demonstrable experience in handling external audits, understanding transfer pricing, and supporting compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
