Position Summary:
Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization with a focus on the timely and accurate completion of month-end book closures, preparation of MIS reports, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires hands-on expertise in reviewing payments, reimbursements, and approving bills and journal vouchers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex financial functions and teams in a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Closing and Financial Reporting:
- Lead the month-end and year-end book closure process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports, providing insights for business decisions.
- Analyse and finalize accruals, provisions, and other journal entries required for accurate financial reporting.
- Reconciliations and Reviews:
- Perform and oversee reconciliations for critical accounts, including bank accounts, vendor accounts, and intercompany balances.
- Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.
- Conduct periodic reviews of trial balances and balance sheet schedules to ensure financial accuracy.
- Payment and Reimbursement Oversight:
- Review and approve vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payments in adherence to company policies.
- Monitor payment cycles to ensure timely processing and avoid delays or penalties.
- Maintain robust controls over cash flow and expenses to align with financial budgets.
- Approval of Bills and Journal Vouchers (JVs):
- Approve journal vouchers (JVs) and ensure accurate general ledger postings.
- Verify and approve bills, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal approval processes.
- Statutory Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors to manage statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
- Maintain compliance with transfer pricing and related party transaction regulations.
- Financial Process Improvement:
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Leverage technology and automation tools to streamline reporting, reconciliations, and payment processes.
- Team Management and Coordination:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring their growth and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global finance teams to ensure alignment and standardization of financial processes.
Essential:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounts roles.
- Proven experience in handling month-end closures, reconciliations, MIS preparation, and statutory compliances.
- Experience working in multinational corporations with exposure to multi-geography financial operations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Expertise in reviewing and approving payments, reimbursements, and journal vouchers.
- Familiarity with automation tools and technology-driven finance processes.
- Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and Ind AS.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to manage a large and diverse team.
