The Head of Strategy will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing, communicating, and executing Prompt DairyTech's strategic direction. This individual will be instrumental in identifying emerging trends, analyzing market opportunities, and formulating strategic initiatives to drive sustainable growth, expand our market presence, and solidify our position as a leader in the dairy technology space. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the technology landscape, the Indian dairy sector, and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies.

- Strategic Planning & Development:
- Lead the development and refinement of Prompt DairyTech's long-term strategic plan, aligning with the company's vision and growth objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities within the dairy technology sector, both domestically and internationally.
- Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new technologies, business models, and market segments.
- Formulate strategic initiatives and recommendations for product development, market expansion, partnerships, and potential mergers & acquisitions.
- Translate strategic plans into actionable roadmaps and initiatives with clear timelines and resource allocation.
- Opportunity Identification & Assessment:
- Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities, alliance partnerships within the dairy tech ecosystem, including areas such as precision dairy farming, animal health technology, value-added dairy products, and data analytics.
- Analyze the potential for leveraging Prompt DairyTech's existing strengths and capabilities to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Conduct due diligence on potential alliance partnerships, investments, or acquisitions.
- Competitive Analysis & Market Intelligence:
- Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, identifying key players, their strategies, and potential threats and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory changes within the dairy sector.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment:
- Collaborate closely with other functional heads (Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure alignment of departmental strategies with the overall corporate strategy.
- Drive strategic discussions and facilitate decision-making across different teams.
- Champion strategic initiatives and ensure effective communication and implementation throughout the organization.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Define key strategic performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and impact of strategic initiatives.
- Regularly monitor and analyze strategic performance against targets, providing reports and insights to the leadership team.
- Identify and address any deviations from the strategic plan, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, investors, and advisors.
- Represent Prompt DairyTech in strategic discussions and presentations.
- Development and successful implementation of a comprehensive long-term strategic plan for Prompt DairyTech.
- Identification and evaluation of significant growth opportunities within the dairy technology space.
- Effective competitive analysis and market intelligence leading to proactive strategic adjustments.
- Successful alignment and execution of strategic initiatives across all functional departments.
- Achievement of defined strategic performance targets and KPIs.
- Number of new strategic opportunities identified and evaluated within a defined timeframe (e.g., quarterly, annually).
- Success rate of strategic initiatives implemented (e.g., achievement of milestones, budget adherence).
- Growth in market share in targeted new segments or product categories.
- Return on investment (ROI) from strategic investments and partnerships.
- Improvement in key business metrics (e.g., revenue growth, customer acquisition cost) attributable to strategic initiatives.
- Level of alignment and collaboration achieved across different functional teams on strategic goals (measured through internal surveys or feedback).
- Timely and insightful strategic performance reports provided to the leadership team.
- Successful development and launch of new products or services aligned with identified strategic opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Dairy Technology field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in strategy development, business development, or management consulting, preferably within the technology or agricultural/dairy sector.
- Proven track record of identifying and successfully capitalizing on new market opportunities and driving significant growth.
- Strong understanding of technology trends, business models, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across different levels of the organization.
- Experience working in the Indian market is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the dairy industry and its dynamics would be a significant advantage.
