Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
The Area Manager will be responsible for mapping territories segment-wise, application-wise, and potential-wise. They will need to conduct sales forecasting for the existing range of models/products and work closely with local dealers to achieve targeted sales levels in the region. Developing sustainable relationships with customers, identifying and engaging with strategic customers such as fleet owners, and conducting meetings with segment customers to materialize deals will be key responsibilities.
The incumbent will collaborate with the Product Development/Marketing team to understand customer expectations, analyze competitors' activities and new product plans, and devise strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Guiding channel partners to establish secondary sales/service networks, organizing local promotional campaigns to enhance market development, and increasing market share will also be part of the role.

Education Qualification
The ideal candidate for this role should hold a BTech/BE in Agriculture or Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, having extensive experience in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management will be beneficial.
General Experience
The successful candidate should possess core skills in territory analysis, sales forecasting, marketing, CRM, scheme design, competitor analysis, strategic planning, market share analysis, and market development. An understanding of data analysis, product knowledge/application, channel profitability, dealer management, sales planning, and inventory management is essential.
Critical Experience
Prior experience in effectively managing territories, implementing sales strategies, and driving market expansion is critical for this role. Demonstrated expertise in developing channel partners, analyzing market trends, and fostering customer relationships will be advantageous. The candidate should exhibit strong leadership qualities, strategic thinking abilities, and a drive for achieving results.
