Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 12 to 14 years of experience in AWS Microservices Spring Boot and Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable and robust microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Java.
  • Oversee the implementation of AWS cloud solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of the applications by implementing industry-standard practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the architecture design and implementation of the solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the architecture and solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide technical solutions that align with the companys goals.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Ensure the scalability and flexibility of the solutions to accommodate future growth and changes.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the business and its customers.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in AWS Microservices Spring Boot and Java.
  • Should have a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must have experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Should have a good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Must have experience in designing and implementing scalable and robust solutions.
  • Should have a good understanding of security and compliance best practices.
  • Must have experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Should have a good understanding of industry trends and technologies.
  • Must have experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Should have strong documentation skills.
  • Must have a good understanding of business needs and technical solutions.
