We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Apprentice Trainee – Technical Writer to join our Application Development team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in technical writing while gaining hands-on experience in documenting software applications, user manuals, and process workflows.
As a trainee, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and end-users to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that enhances the understanding of our applications and processes.

- Assist in creating and maintaining user manuals, help guides, FAQs, and technical documentation for software applications.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand application features and translate technical details into user-friendly documentation.
- Develop process flow diagrams, instructional guides, and system documentation.
- Ensure documentation is well-structured, consistent, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Help in preparing training materials, release notes, and API documentation.
- Edit and proofread technical content for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Organize and maintain a centralized repository for all documentation.
- Stay updated on new documentation tools, trends, and best practices in technical writing.
- Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
- Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
- Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
- Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
- This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications & Required Skills
- Recent graduate/post-graduate or final-year student in BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into simple, user-friendly documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information effectively.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with technical writing tools such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or Confluence.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to markup languages like Markdown or XML.
- Hands-on experience in technical writing for software applications.
- Mentorship and training from experienced professionals.
- A collaborative work environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
- Exposure to real-world projects and industry best practices.
Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
- Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
- Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
- Work surface is stable (flat)
