As our Crop business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Application scientist to join our organisation to drive development of bio based surfactants & agrochemical formulations to support customer projects. Work closely with the commercial teams to conduct product trials and trainings at customer sites and providing technical services.
Reporting into the Applications Manager of our Life Sciences business, you will work closely with commercial teams to provide agrochemical solutions that meet customer needs. Design and develop experiments, maintain records ensuring safety at the laboratory.

Degree qualified in chemistry with specialization in agrochemicals.
Extensive experience in design and development of agrochemical formulations
Basic knowledge of surfactants, bio – surfactants, synthetic pesticides & bio pesticide chemistry is essential.
Strong Analytical, communication and presentation skills
Thorough background project management, diagnostic and experimentation.

Applying technical knowledge to evaluate and formulate new products and optimizing existing products to meet current and future market needs of Crop Care Business
Designing and executing laboratory experiments, reviewing results and provide solutions to problems encountered through data collection and investigation.
Supporting utilization of bio-based materials, bio-surfactants & bio-pesticides formulations.
Providing technical support commercial teams regularly, e.g., supporting customer’s technical enquiries, recommending & promoting products & providing training sessions.
Sharing regular project updates with research and commercial teams.
Deploying creative and viable approach to support new product launches, promoting existing product ranges, including development of new test methodologies or developing novel finished formulations for promotional means.
Keeping abreast of new technologies and advancements and exploring biological applications in the crop protection sector.
Following site safety requirements, ensuring that all laboratory activities are conducted in accordance with statutory, group and legislative requirements
