Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code. Doesn't matter what language you are comfortable with.
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
- Lead and manage a team of developers working on Java/J2EE-based solutions, ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and quality standards. Its a hands-on role.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and optimize data pipelines, including data replicas, star schemas, and analytics frameworks.
- Leverage Oracle/AWS cloud platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient cloud-based solutions. Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of build pipelines and systems, ensuring smooth CI/CD processes.
- Solve complex challenges, including addressing unknown unknowns, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Stay organized and methodical in planning and execution to streamline workflows and maximize productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in Object Oriented Design, System Design, and XML Schema.
- Expertise in any of the programming language - Java/Python/Javascript etc. Although java experience gives added advantage
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Knowledge about the cloud architecture. Being familiar with AWS/GCloud/OCI would be definitely give an added edge. However if you are not familiar, but is willing to learn and contribute, That would also work
- Being able to solve the problem and having a good attitude towards work will be a main criteria
- Knowledge of next-gen AI concepts such as Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and their applications in development and data analytics.
- Experience with data pipeline design and implementation, including analytics-driven solutions.
- Proficiency in setting up and managing build pipelines to support robust CI/CD processes.
- Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
