Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Research and identify suppliers for fabrics, trims, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with vendors to gather samples, quotations, and specifications.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and support in negotiations.
• Inspect and manage samples for quality and alignment with design requirements.
• Conduct market research to track trends and identify sourcing opportunities.
• Help negotiate pricing and terms to meet budget constraints.
• Prepare and maintain sourcing records, including purchase orders and contracts.
• Ensure compliance documentation is updated for sustainability and ethical sourcing.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to align sourcing with timelines.
• Support quality control checks and follow up on corrective actions with suppliers.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
• Assist with administrative tasks like organizing databases and scheduling meetings.
• Emphasize sustainable and ethical sourcing practices in all activities.
