Who We Are Looking For
- At least 12+ years of relevant work experience in financial services, banking, insurance o Work experience in Hedge fund Reconciliation and with sound knowledge of end to end fund accounting for long only and alternatives. Analyzing business requirements and translating business requirements into actionable specifications. Strong project management skills and ability to track against agreed timelines. Ability to analyze and initiate new concepts and functionality in a changing environment and ability to obtain pertinent information by research and interaction with clients/users. Demonstrated skill in the implementation phase of large and complex projects. High comfort with creating and presenting information through PowerPoint and flowcharting
- Lead the day to day deliverables on Operations including meeting timelines, thresholds, SLAs, governance requirements etc.
- Liaise with Operations Leads and Stakeholders across different teams on regular basis and meet structured deliverables deadlines.
- Mentor Change Management including automation initiatives including transformation and robotics, and drive productivity milestones
- Monitor operations health in terms of KPI, Risk Indicators and Process Metrics
- Drive and/or support global and/or regional initiatives through adequate project management
- Develop solutions to complex problems by employing timely, rigorous and logical analysis
- Design and develop complex foundational frameworks for enterprise wide reporting systems
- Identify and define the information, business and process requirements for technology development initiatives o Responsible for the successful implementation of application migrations
- Have the vision to see the bigger picture and design for extensibility
- Develop plans and carry out the implementation of new or modified system components, work processes and/or applications
- Manage and direct Subject Matter Experts regarding conversion requirements and impacts of system changes to business processes
- Develop rollout, transition and implementation plans and procedures.
- Attend and participate in business review meetings, identify issues and facilitate resolution o Independently assess an issue and ensure relevant teams are addressing it
- Design, develop and maintain standard documentation
- Take prompt actions based on business needs wherever needed
- Maintain a detailed understanding of controls including operational, information security, and business continuity controls
- Perform regular reviews and / or reporting to effectively exercise oversight and governance of initiatives, and effectively liaise between onshore, offshore and Risk functions
- Identify key risks and establish escalation mechanism to address them in a timely manner
- Designs, maintain, and oversee a comprehensive system of controls to identify, mitigate, and address potential business and operations risks
- Meet regularly with State Street Risk Managers, Compliance Officers, and Internal Auditors to ensure preparedness for any areas of concern, plan for upcoming reviews, and follow up on ongoing issues
- Attend and participate in risk meetings, identify issues and facilitate resolution o Drive accountability / transparency
- Oversee Business Continuity planning
- Ensure timely and accurate creation and review of various MI & reporting.
- Create analytical report and presentations as required, highlighting trends and identifying potential issues
- Lead the team to deliver quality in a timely manner
- Attract, retain and develop a high performing and diverse team

- Bachelor / Masters in Accounting/MBA Finance
