Reporting to the Consumable Sales Manager, the After Market Sales Specialist is responsible for roles and responsibilities as indicated below.

This position is part of the India Commercial organization located in IN Bangalore and will be Hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Engaging customer functions Telephonically for consumables / reagents sales
  • Value selling of Hach products and comparison with competition to customers
  • Support on offer preparation for opportunities
  • Leveraging CRM (Sales force.com = SFDC ) for data collection
  • Replying queries to customers on offers and other details related to our products
  • Supporting to ensure order collection and booking in the system
  • Extend support towards ensuring order shipment to customers by working together with Finance and Supply Chain teams
  • Collecting payments from customers.


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in field sales / inside sales roles.
  • Chemistry / Instrumentation background would be an added advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a process-driven environment with experience in using CRM (SFDC).
  • Customer-focused and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with evolving customer needs / expectations.
  • Strong quantitative analytical abilities with basic understanding of Sales processes.
