Job Overview

As an Admission Counselor at Podar Education Network, you will work from our Dombivli location under a contract employment type. This mid-level position requires a maximum of 6 years of experience. You will play a vital role in guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, ensuring a seamless and informative experience.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Must possess strong admissions counseling skills (Mandatory skill) to effectively engage and guide prospective students and parents through the application process.
  • Excellent communication abilities that facilitate clear, professional, and empathetic interactions with diverse stakeholders, enhancing relationships and understanding.
  • Experience in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently and comply with deadlines, ensuring all admissions processes are completed promptly.
  • Sales skills to effectively promote the educational offerings of Podar institutions and convert inquiries into enrollments.
  • Cold calling proficiency to proactively reach potential families, introducing them to Podar's unique educational qualities and offerings.
  • Deep understanding of admissions procedures to provide accurate information and resolve applicant queries effectively, ensuring clarity in the process.
  • Marketing skills to develop strategies that attract and retain interest in Podar educational programs, maximizing student enrollment.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve organizational goals and maintain high standards of service delivery.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the admission process by providing detailed information on application procedures, enrollment policies, and academic programs.
  • Engage with prospective students and parents through various communication channels, including email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct informative sessions and campus visits to give potential students and families a comprehensive understanding of the Podar environment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement recruitment strategies that attract quality applicants and increase enrollment numbers.
  • Monitor enrollment trends and report on admissions data to inform future recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities to promote Podar educational offerings and draw interest from potential students.
  • Guide applicants through the decision-making process, addressing concerns and ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment.
