Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Admission Counsellor to join our team on a contract basis at our Kalyan location. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in a related role and possess strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills. As an Admission Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and assisting potential students and their parents throughout the admission process.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an education or counselling-related role, up to a maximum of 3 years.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to parents and students.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with families and prospective students.
• Proven sales skills to encourage and persuade prospective students to enroll in our programs.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple admission inquiries and procedures simultaneously.
• Thorough knowledge of the admissions process to guide families accurately and efficiently.
• Experience as a school counsellor, parent counsellor, or educational counsellor is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth admission process.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist prospective students and their families through the entire admission process, from initial inquiries to final enrollment.
• Provide detailed information about various educational programs and streams offered by Podar Education Network.
• Respond promptly to admission inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Conduct school tours and orientation sessions for prospective students and their families.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospective students and their families.
• Follow up with potential students and parents to answer any additional questions they may have.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a consistent and seamless admission experience.
• Stay updated on educational programs, admissions policies, and other relevant information to provide accurate guidance.
