About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant with Admin experience with a strong understanding of financial books, GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) regulations, invoicing, travel and other bookings, in India. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of accounting experience and will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting overall financial operations.
Accounting Duties
- Record and maintain accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings, such as GST, TDS, income tax, etc., and handle any tax-related queries or audits.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Conduct regular audits and financial analysis to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process.
- Payroll Processing: Experience in calculating and processing payroll, including tax and statutory deductions (e.g., PF, ESI).
- Understanding of Indian Financial Regulations: Familiarity with Indian accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory deadlines.
Administrative Duties
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and service agreements for administrative needs.
- Oversee office operations, including organizing meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Export & Import: Candidate should have experience of managing export and import of goods and services
- Administrative Support: Experience in handling office management tasks such as vendor coordination, procurement, and maintaining office records.
- Maintain employee records, handle HR-related paperwork, and support new employee onboarding.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth administrative support for business functions.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for records, invoices, and other essential documents.
- Provide support to management for ad-hoc reporting, presentations, and other tasks as needed.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- B. Com/M. Com/MBA (Finance) with minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Cum Admin Officer reporting directly to senior management.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and familiarity with finance regulations.
- Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook skills, Zoho, Tally with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication.
