Job Overview

We are looking for an Accounts & Operations Executive who is accurate, organized, and eager to grow in a fast-paced startup environment. This role includes managing day-to-day accounting tasks along with finance-related operational support to ensure smooth functioning of the company.

Preference: Tamil-speaking candidates.

Key ResponsibilitiesCore Accounting

• Maintain daily bookkeeping: expenses, invoices, receipts, payouts
• Handle GST, TDS, ESI & PF and statutory compliance
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and financial summaries
• Perform bank reconciliation, vendor payments & payroll inputs
• Verify teacher payouts and track student fee collections

Finance & Operations Support

• Follow up with parents regarding overdue or failed payments
• Maintain outstanding reports & update CRM/Sheets regularly
• Track teacher attendance, leave data & payout readiness
• Maintain well-organised digital financial records for audits
• Assist in admin tasks: expense tracker, vendor bills, subscriptions

Reporting & Data Tasks

• Create weekly dashboards for enrollments, dues & utilization
• Ensure accuracy across LMS, CRM, and accounting systems
• Assist in basic cost/expense analysis reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 0–3 years of experience (freshers welcome)
• Knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / Excel
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Good communication in Tamil & English

Work ModeHybrid — Candidate must be available to work from our Chennai office when required.
