About the Role: The Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP): Process and record invoices, manage vendor payments, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send invoices to clients, track payments, manage collections, and reconcile accounts receivable.
• General Ledger Accounting: Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and generate reports on financial performance.
• Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and other account reconciliations.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
• Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Financial Analysis: Perform basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Other Accounting Tasks: Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
