Accountant

What You'll Do

We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years of experience in core accounting and financial reporting. The candidate is expected to handle day-to-day activities of accounting, assist in monthly reporting, variance analysis and be responsible for maintenance of fixed asset register.

Job Location: Pune ( Hybrid Model)

Job Duties

• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, processing invoices, and preparing reconciliation statements
• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
• Analysis of budget vs actuals on a monthly basis
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external audits as per required laws and regulations
• Maintenance of fixed assets register and timely updation of the same
• Giving proper treatment of disposal of assets in books of accounts by calculating and accounting for the the profit / loss on sale
  
  

What You'll Need to be Successful

• Chartered Accountant (2-3 years) or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (3-5 years)
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting processes
• Hands on expereine of Oracle Netsuite
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in accounting and revenue recognition with a fair understanding of global accounting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience in handling internal and external audits
• Adaptability to change priorities and meet tight deadlines
