Description
Amazon is looking for a smart and motivated individual for the Amazon India payment business team. The candidate will work as part of the business development team for scaling merchant onboarding, monitoring risk and audit functions related process and also provide timely support for merchant and Customer escalations. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for streamlining processes and who can work independently to deliver accurate and timely results.
The individual needs to understand core business metrics with impact and should be able to work with a sense of urgency. This role requires an individual with excellent research and communication skills, outstanding business acumen, and past ops plus project management experience a plus. A successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Key job responsibilities
4+ years of professional or military experience
4+ years of generating new opportunities with strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution through entire sales cycle experience
3+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and record of success in an outbound account management or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution/technology-related environment

- Daily/weekly coordination with the business cross functional teams to independently manage an impactful project
- Reporting progress as part of weekly and Monthly reviews
- Maintains records of day-to-day work by updating trackers or workflow tools
- Manage SLAs on escalations by external merchants
- Utilize a combination of manual and automated tools to deep dive and further share the compiled response for a particular request
- Communicate verbally and in writing to external merchants, Amazon employees, and others
- Understand the different type of payment instruments available for better response
4+ years of professional or military experience
