Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking highly motivated and innovative Project Management professionals who are eager to join ABB now or in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to join our talent pool and be considered for upcoming Project Management roles.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the oversight of team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units.

The work model for the role is: LI#onsite/hybrid

This role is to build the talent pipeline for either of business's in ABB (Electrification/ Process Automation/ Motion/ Robotics) at Various locations in India (Bangalore/ Faridabad/ Nashik/ Vadodara)

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
• Supporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• The role typically requires overseeing complex, multidisciplinary projects that integrate electrical, mechanical, and automation systems, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications..
• You hold an engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics and have over 7-15 years of experience in project management with any of the products like Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Traction converters, High Transmission Motors, DCS, PLC, SCADA, Switchgears, Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Panels, Low Voltage /Medium Voltage Products.
• You possess advanced knowledge of project planning tools such as Primavera, MS Project, and SAP.
• You are passionate about team management, negotiation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership.
• PMP Certification will be added advantage.
• You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing
