NHS Lothian Clinical Health Psychology Service is delighted to be offering a 0.2 wte 23 month fixed-term Band 8a Applied Psychologist post in our Palliative Care service, based at the Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh. Marie Curie Hospice has a long-standing Service Level Agreement with the NHS Lothian Clinical Health Psychology Service to provide this service.

Clinical Health Psychology is a Lothian-wide service, supporting patients to adjust to acute and chronic physical health conditions. We have over 25 posts across 16 specialist services, including Pain Management, Weight Management, Psycho-Oncology and ME/CFS. We offer interventions in a range of intensities and modalities, as well as consultancy, supervision and training.

This post presents an excellent opportunity to develop and extend core competencies in a Palliative Care/Hospice setting, supported by an experienced and enthusiastic team.
