Description Of Responsibilities
- Technical and project management support for engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility).
- Technical deliverables, drawing, design, schedules, report writing, presentation making and cost estimations.
- Proficiency in underground (non-coal) mine planning software such as Deswik, Datamine, will be preferred.
- Underground metal mining operational experience with working knowledge of resource block models, stope optimizer software, CAD tools and scheduling software.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A bachelor`s degree in mining engineering or related field.
- 2 to 15 years industry experience in underground mining, mine planning, and preferably with a diverse range of commodities.
- Proficiency with computerized mine planning and optimization tools, e.g. Deswik, Datamine, MineSight, Vulcan.
- Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
- Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists.
- The ability to work in a dynamic, flexible workplace.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively.
- Ability and willingness to travel and long duration stay at project site, as and when required.
