Job Purpose

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Trade Compliance & Customs Compliance Specialist to support and strengthen our global trade compliance operations. The role will focus on customs regulations, HS/HSN classification, customs notice management, regulatory compliance, and ensuring adherence to applicable import/export laws.

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Customs Law, tariff classification, customs documentation, and regulatory processes, along with the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and external authorities to ensure compliant and efficient trade operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support customs compliance activities related to import and export operations.
Review and maintain HS/HSN classifications for products in accordance with applicable customs regulations.
Handle customs notices, queries, audits, and communication with customs authorities.
Ensure compliance with local and international customs laws, trade regulations, and company policies.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact on trade compliance processes.
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate customs documentation.
Support customs assessments, investigations, and compliance reviews.
Maintain proper documentation and records required for trade compliance activities.
Assist in developing and improving systematic compliance processes and internal controls.
Work with customs brokers and external consultants where required.
Support risk identification and mitigation related to customs and trade compliance.
Participate in internal compliance audits and process improvement initiatives.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, or related domain.
