Key Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and implementing scalable Playwright automation frameworks from scratch for enterprise-grade applications.
Build modular, reusable, and maintainable test components to improve long-term efficiency and reduce maintenance effort.
Ensure cross-browser testing support across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit environments.
Enable parallel execution capabilities and optimize runtime for large and complex test suites.
Conduct peer code reviews to maintain code quality and enforce best practices across the team.
Automate critical business workflows including navigation, search, forms, and transactional processes.
Handle validation of dynamic UI elements, lazy loading behavior, and single-page applications.
Implement robust locator strategies using CSS and XPath to avoid flaky test executions.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Enable scheduled executions, parallel builds, and environment-specific testing strategies.
Ensure fast and actionable feedback cycles for continuous deployment and delivery processes.
Define comprehensive automation strategies aligned with business and technical goals.
Implement test coverage models and adopt risk-based testing approaches to maximize quality.
Promote shift-left testing practices to catch defects early in the development lifecycle.
Maintain high-quality standards and governance across releases and delivery milestones.
Generate detailed execution reports with insights into failures, coverage, and trends.
Track automation coverage, defect leakage, and recurring failure patterns for improvement.
Provide meaningful quality insights and dashboards to stakeholders and leadership.
Mentor junior QA engineers and lead automation initiatives across distributed teams.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams while advocating for quality engineering practices.
