Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – PV Solar to manage end-to-end testing and certification projects for photovoltaic (PV) modules and related products. The role requires strong expertise in international and Indian solar standards, project management, technical interpretation, and customer support to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PV testing and certification projects from sample planning to certification.
• Interpret and implement international and Indian standards including IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 62804, IEC 61701, IEC 62716, IEC 60904, UL 61730, IEC 62941, IEC 62790, IEC 62759 and BIS (IS/IEC 61215 & IS/IEC 61730), requirements with latest editions.
• Manage reliability testing such as Damp Heat, Thermal Cycling, Humidity Freeze, Mechanical Load, PID, LeTID/LID, IAM, Salt Mist, Ammonia, Hail, UV, and other environmental qualification tests.
• BOM review for sample planning, review technical documents, manage project timelines, and coordinate with laboratories, certification teams, and customers.
• Handle BIS certification projects, technical queries, standards interpretation, engineering change assessments, and retesting requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and support customers throughout the certification process.
• Ensure compliance with Intertek quality procedures and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Experience IEC CB projects, reporting, compliance criteria and updates on CTL and OD’s.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
  
  

Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in Solar PV testing, certification, or the TIC industry.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, UL, and BIS certification requirements.
• Experience in project management, standards interpretation, reliability testing, and customer-facing technical support.
• Experience working in a NABL/CBTL/TIC environment is preferred.
