Senior Project Manager - Elastic Security, SOAR, SIEM

Location: Electronic City, Phase-1,  Bengaluru

Experience: 10-15 Years

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Elastic Security, SOAR, and SIEM technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative security solutions. A deal breaker skill for this position is proficiency in Elastic Search, which is essential for the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple projects focused on Elastic Security, SOAR, and SIEM implementations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience with Elastic Search and its integration into security solutions.
• Strong understanding of Elastic Security, SOAR, and SIEM technologies.
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based security solutions.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-13 years of experience in project management, with a focus on security technologies.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
